About Us

Krishnan’s homestay is a humble cottage located in Paithalmala, close to the border between Karnataka and Kerala in a serene hill top. Mr. Krishnan is a retired professional currently residing in Kannur. He spent most of his professional life in Dubai, working for MNCs in the maritime service industry. Prior to his tenure in Dubai he served in the Indian Navy for 10 years.

Krishnan’s homestay lies on 1.5 acre of plush land overlooking picturesque views of the hilly landscapes of Paithalmala. Paithalmala’s unspoiled tropical beauty, pleasant weather, serene atmosphere and rising tourism were key attractions for Mr. Krishnan to invest in this property in 2014. Mr. Krishnan uses the homestay as a summer home for himself and his family, along with renting it out to tourists.

Krishnan’s homestay strives to offer a clean and calm environment. The homestay has a caretaker, who is a local resident living nearby, providing room service as necessary. For tourists who wish to try the local cuisine, the caretaker also provides home cooked meals. Krishnan’s homestay is a great place to stay for people who wish to escape the hustle and bustle of the cities.
